Hi to all Parents and Carers

I have had a lovely day!!

I spent some time Zooming with Year 6. It was my first Zoom ever (yes I admit it).

It's amazing what you learn: what time the Y6 species emerge from slumber; what the species wear while in slumber; once the species has emerged what they do; the excuses they come up with when they miss an early Zoom and request a place in the last one at 11am!!... hide under tables in their dens; bake; build walls (impressive); play with their new puppy; annoy their sisters and brothers!! (How many times do I have to tell you.... that's what brothers and sisters are for.)

It was utterly lovely to see them all and hear about what they are doing and what they need from school. (Less work from school - well that's not happening ;)

Seriously I was so proud of my children and their teachers. I know that teachers are contacting children and making sure you are all ok.

    We miss you all.

Have a great weekend. Get in touch if you need to.

    Lots of love

    Mrs. P xx

    Hi Parents and carers

I am in school at the moment dropping off one lot of work and getting some more. You will be glad to know that your school reports are on my list soon!! Yes I can remember all about you :)

I have asked your teachers to call you and ask how you are. So if you get a No ID Caller please try to pick up as it might be your teacher. They will just want to know how you are and if you have any worries.

The fish are missing you and so am I

    Lots of love

    Mrs. Perry :)

Good evening to all Parents and Carers

I hope you have all had a good day!! It's been raining where I am so I have worked all day. Just been out for a lovely walk along the side of the brook round the back of the house. Again, I have had lots of messages about what you are up to. I am also aware that for some life is tough on some days. Please let us know if we can help or even chat over the phone. Some days I have to not think about how this will go on for, because I miss school, my routine and I miss you. So keep in touch and keep safe.

Good afternoon to all parents and carers :)

I hope you are all well today?

It's a bit cooler at my house. Charlotte thought I didn't notice her sneaking the heating on!!!

I went down to school this morning to get more work to do. I think your rainbows are lovely. School feels very strange without you all. The fish tank looks good. I think the little fish miss your little faces pressed up against the tank.

Dennis the caretaker has cleaned all your class rooms and they smell lovely and clean !!

I really hope that you are all keeping well and that we see each other very soon.

Hi to all my little guys, parents and staff

I thought it was going to rain today... but no!! So I am off to water my garden again later.

I have been looking through some old photos today. Charlotte found them under the stairs. I have been explaining to her about people who were very special to me some years before she was born. Pictures of former colleagues, family, , parties we had (She just raised an eye brow) and I found a picture of my first class in  1984!!!

I told her the story of a little boy who had just moved to England from China. We were reading a book that had a sheep in it. He was determined that it was a sausage. Hey hey. ! I remember him distinctly, very fondly,  just like I remember you all.

We will all be together soon I hope.

    Love to you all.

Good afternoon staff, parents and carers :)

I can't believe we are at the end of another week. It has been great to hear what you have been doing:

    Digging allotments

    Painting

    Baking

    Walking in the park

    Making space models

Building worm gardens.... the list goes on and on. I know that you have lots of work available on the website. Please!!!! do not feel that you have to complete it all. It is there if you want it. Do the activities that you find interesting. Keeping up with reading and maths is important though so try your best with that.

Every day I know that I have jobs to do. I am not always in the mood to do them, so I do something else and complete the other jobs at a different time. The main thing is that you are all safe and happy.

No parents have told me that a place is needed at school next week, so unless I am told otherwise, school remains closed.

Can I take this opportunity to wish our Muslim parents and staff Ramadhan Mubarak. Congratulations on the first day of Ramadhan.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

    Mrs. Perry :))

Afternoon to all the wonderful children at St. Margaret's and their parents/carers of course.

    I hope you are well?

What another lovely day. I went to Lidl earlier.... yes this is the high point of my two weeks!! I took four bags and I bought more than expected (so I don't have to go back there anytime soon!!). As I was packing the first one, a big hole appeared and all the shopping fell all over the floor. The second bag was better until I picked it up to put in my trolley and the handles fell off! Shopping on the floor once again. The people waiting behind me were definitely NOT impressed.

I then tried to address my massive email list except that my internet connection at home isn't great so I had to wait two hours for it to sort itself out. So guess what I did instead?? I started your end of year reports!! I have plenty of time to do them so I can write plenty about you all... :)

Don't worry, I only have lovely things to say about you all.

    Keep well and keep safe.

    Mrs. Perry :) x

    Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and keeping safe. All is well in the Perry household. Well..... Josh(Mr. Perry) is at his house in Salford and I really would like him home. I think he is bored a bit and missing you guys. I also need him to  clean the fish tank!!

Charlotte and I went for a run this morning but she had a sprained ankle so we had to walk all the way back. I was late for my meeting with Bury LA. O dear. ;)

You will be glad to know that since I have so much time to do school work that I have lots of time to think about all your reports. :))

Lots of love to you all.

    Miss you lots.

    Mrs. P :))

Hi to all St. Margaret's parents/carers/children and future children

The list for our new children in September has been sent out earlier this week. I am really pleased that so many of you are chuffed that your children will be coming to us! I love to see younger siblings joining us and this will be no different this year. As I get older I confuse siblings so please do not feel insulted if I call you by your brother or sister's name.

I have also been looking at our Year 6. They are leaving us under circumstances that are not great this year. My dear Year 6.... we will not just let you go. There will be a time for us to celebrate your time with us. I don't know what this will look like but I promise you that something will happen. Perhaps an evening round at Mr. Longworth's?? (Time for you to get him back for all the SATs, bad jokes!! ..... etc)

    Have a lovely evening.

    Mrs. P :))

PS. Thank you for all your lovely messages. I am the luckiest head teacher in Bury x

    Good evening everyone

That sounds really formal doesn't it. I don't mean it to. :))) I have had so many lovely messages today. I am very glad that you are keeping well. I continue to be so proud of every child, every parent and every member of staff. You are all working so hard to protect your families and your children.

My Charlotte has to to do a project on plants for her children in Beijing. (Reception Class). So we have been for a walk taking pics of daisies daffodils and blossoms etc.

I am not sure how you do a topic on plants with four year olds via video link ... but hey... who am I to say what goes on in Beijing.

Lots of love to you all..

Char will make me go for a run in the morning. Please pray for me.

    Missing you all
