The GM website While You Wait is designed to provide information and advice to people on waiting lists for planned hospital treatment on how best to manage physical and mental health, with the aim of them staying as well as possible and preparing for treatment to get the best possible outcome from treatment.  Approx 1 in 6 people living in GM are on a hospital waiting list.  Working with doctors and nurses, the While you Wait website now features more information for people waiting for procedures under orthopaedics, gastroenterology and children’s surgical hospital services.
