Coat Challenge
In Reception we encourage children to be independent and learn to do things for themselves.
Can you recognise your coat? What does it look like?
Can you put your coat on yourself?
Can you do the zip or buttons on your coat up?
If the sleeves of your coat are inside out can you figure out how to pull them through?
These are all skills we encourage children to do for themselves. If a child struggles to put their coat on independently we encourage them to put the hood on their head first then put each arm into the coat.
