Free Advice and Treatment - Boots Health Hub

If you don't pay for prescriptions, you may be able to use the NHS Minor Ailment Scheme to get advice and, when appropriate, free treatment for certain common illnesses without seeing a GP.  You may be able to use the free scheme at selected pharmacies, including some Boots pharmacies in your area.

Medicines can be provided free of charge to the customer if they are exempt from NHS prescription charges.  The scheme is for both adults and children.

Benefits:

  • Convenience - No need to make an appointment
  • Advice - Pharmacists can refer you to a GP if needed
  • Flexible - Many pharmacies are open at weekends
