Thursday 1st October

Dear Parents and Carers,

I thought you would appreciate an update on the arrangements for next week. As you will appreciate things are constantly changing and unfortunately this is the way it is at the moment.

This is how things stand at this point in time:

School will re-open on Tuesday 6th October for all classes, except for Year 4. The reason for this is that there has been a recent confirmed case of COVID-19 with one of the children in this class and advice from the Local Heath Team is that Y4 can not return to school until Wednesday 7th October.

Staggered drop off and collection times will remain as they were before. Can I please remind all parents / carers to wear a mask when dropping and collecting their child(ren), with the exception of those exempt.

We aim to re-open Smarties from Monday 12th October. However, this is a provisional date at the moment. We understand that parents need this provision and we will open the club at the earliest possible date.

School is looking at how we can communicate with you, as we are aware that there has not been a Parents Evening for some time. This is under discussion and there will be more information to follow on this.

Thank you again for all your messages of support during this extremely difficult time.

Keep safe and well.

Mrs. Perry
