Hi everyone! We are the Online Safety Council. We hold assemblies and run events across school that raise awareness of online safety. We organised lots of different activities for Online Safety Day for children to take part in and meet regularly. We promote SMART targets across school which help to keep us safe. Please be sure to come to our parent workshop on Thursday 23rd April where we will be talking to parents about our role. There are lots of resources and websites that will be shared to help parents keep up to date with social media, appropriate games, and how to prevent children from accessing harmful information or data.

It is important to follow the SMART rules for internet safety. We shared these rules with staff and children as part of internet safety day and children watched the age-appropriate internet safety videos in class.
