Monday 16th January

Well,  the weekend went quickly.  I didn't do a great deal except for a walk each day and watching some television, whilst eating lots of ice cream.  Hope you all managed to have some fun.

This week's work is on Google Classroom.  Don't forget to send it back to us via Google Classroom so that we can mark it properly.

I am not putting the work on the website now as you are all on GC.  However, if you DO access your work on the website please let me know , and I will upload it.

Friday 15th January

Well, it's Friday.  The week seems to have gone so fast.  Well done to those of you who have done all your work.  You are doing a fantastic job.  Remember, if you are having any problems, just let me know.  Make sure you have a good weekend and try to have some fun.

Thursday 14th January

I can't believe it is already Thursday.  This week has gone so quickly.  I worked from home yesterday marking your work and preparing all the tasks that you will do next week. I am impressed that so many of you are managing to complete all the activities to such a high standard. However, some of you need to concentrate on the presentation of your work.  Try to imagine that you are still in school and complete the work to the high standard that you do there.  If you feel that you want more than the four activities that I put on Google Classroom/website, let me know.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Wednesday 13th January

Good morning.

You are all doing an amazing job keeping up with the work that has been set.  I understand that some of you may be finding it difficult as it is not an ideal way to learn.  Normally, we would all be learning together in the classroom, but just do your best. Mrs Hadfield and I are trying hard to mark your work and answer any emails that you send.  We are very proud of you all.

Tuesday 12th January

Well done everyone who attended the Zoom meeting yesterday and those of you who managed to send in your work.  I am very impressed.  Keep working hard and trying your best and hopefully we will all be back in school as soon as it is possible.

For those of you who don't have a printer, don't worry.  I will make sure that I don't set work that needs to be printed.  That way, you will just have to copy the work onto paper. Remember that you can access the work both on Google Classroom and our class page n the website. Today's activities are maths, English, reading and science.

Yesterday, in class, we also did a Joe Wickes workout and learned to draw a face.

Have fun.

Monday 11th January

I hope that you had a lovely weekend. I went for a walk on both days and watched a lot of television. Hopefully, you have managed to join Google Classroom.  If you are having trouble the work is also on the website in Home Learning. Today's work is maths, English and geography.  Just try your best to complete it.  Remember to join the Zoom meeting at 9am.

Friday 8th January

I am really hoping it snows today.  If so get out in your gardens and build some mini snowmen.  Some of your parents need to accept the Google Classroom invite. They need to do this so that you can attend the Zoom meeting everyday.  Have a lovely weekend, keep safe and I will speak to you on Monday at 9am.

Thursday 7th January

Good morning.  I hope that you all managed to complete your work yesterday and that you are not finding learning at home too difficult.  Could you please ask your parents to look at their emails and accept the invite from Google Classroom.  You will need this in order to access your work next week.  It means that you can send it back to me and that I can mark it.

Wednesday 6th January

Happy New Year to you all.

I'm so sorry but at the moment Mrs Cleary is having trouble with the internet. As soon as possible she will upload your work for the day.

Good morning everyone.  I have managed to sort out the problem with the internet so here I am.  I really hope that you all had a lovely time over the Christmas break. I am really sad that we can't go back to school today, but  we will have to try our best with home learning.

For the rest of this week, I will upload some maths and English work for you onto our class page.  From Monday next week, I will be holding a Zoom meeting at 9 0' clock every morning. Please try to join this as I will be explaining what you will need to do each day.  I am sending an email to your families so that you can join Google Classroom.  This is where your work will be. Once you have completed the work you will need to send it back to me so that I can mark it.  Anyway, more about that later.  For now, just do the work on our page.  If you have any problems or want to tell me something you can email me on the Y5 home learning email.  Goodbye for now and just try your best.

Congratulations go to Airin for working really hard in her class work.
