The Escape of the Gingerbread!

Today we received a notification on the class camera informing us that there has been some strange activity in the classroom. We checked the cameras and found this video. Oh no! The naughty elf used his magic dusk and brought the gingerbread to life and they escaped!

Making Gingerbread Monsters

To end our story book 'Bedtime for Monsters', we wrote our own gingerbread monster recipes (like the biscuits the monster eats in our story). We then worked together as a class to make the gingerbread monsters. We had so much fun!

Bedtime for Monsters

This term we are focusing on the book 'Bedtime for Monsters'. We came into the classroom to find that a monster had been in and left us a present.

Stanley's Stick

We have been reading the story of Stanley's Stick. We sequenced the story and created a story map. We looked at changing the story to create own our own story.

We chose a normal item and use our imagination to change the item into something fun and creative.

In our groups, we pitched our items to the class using superlatives!

Brave Bear

Our first book this term is Brave Bear. We started our topic by hearing the first line of the book and creating our own scenes of what we imagined the story was about.
