Geography

12.01.21- this week in geography we will be looking at physical and human geography and their features and what makes something a human or physical feature. Have a look at the powerpoint and then see if you can sort the images into physical or human features.

18.01.21 This week in geography we will continue to look at features, particularly physical geography. In fact we will look at some of the largest physical features on the planet. Oceans and continents. These activities may take more than 1 session. Please complete the labelling of the continents and the labelling of the oceans. The puzzle to make is just an extension activity.

week beginning 25.01.21. We are continuing to explore human and physical geographical features. Have a look at the previous work where we sorted features into those that were human and those that were physical. Using those images help the children design an imaginary place with lots of human features and an imaginary place with lots of physical features. If you can you could explore some of these features on the internet to give the children more ideas of what they actually look like.

week beginning 01.02.21. This week in geography we are going to concentrate on human geographical features. I would like you to choose something that has been made by people and write a fact sheet or an information poster about it. It can be a human feature from anywhere in the world. I've added a list of some ideas, an example of what You can do and some templates for you to use. However please feel free to design your own.
