Finally, there are the OPTIONAL Harry Potter tasks set - which combines English and Art (and ICT if you wish) and this can be added to each week. Please email your Maps and Cards when you have completed them, you can then play them when we return to school.

Journey to the River Sea - Week beginning 20.04.20

Reading, after Easter with Mrs Owen,  will be Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson. It would be great if you could get a copy of it on kindle or in hardback., or even look at audible? I realise this may cause an added cost, which I am sorry. I am obviously unable to scan in the text online due to copyright laws. This will be our main study text and work will be set each Monday based on the chapters we will read.

Additional activities based on Chapter 1:

1) Draw and write a character description about Mia, based on the information found in Chapter 1.

2) Write a diary as Mia, giving details about what is happening to her and how she may be feeling about things.
